Application Steps and Documents
The application process for Teknopark İzmir follows the steps below.
Who Can Apply?
Companies operating in R&D, software and design, or individual entrepreneurs who want to start a venture in these fields, can apply. You can set up a new company, move your headquarters or open a branch at Teknopark İzmir.
Pre-Application
Start your application by filling in and submitting the Pre-Application Form on our website.
Evaluation and Review Process
The pre-application is reviewed by the General Directorate, and suitable candidates are invited to a first meeting. After the meeting, you will be informed about the process by e-mail.
Once all sections are complete, the form is sent to the review board through the system, and a printed copy with a wet signature (and company stamp for companies) is submitted to the General Directorate.
R&D Space Allocation
The result of the application is communicated to the entrepreneur or company in writing. Depending on space availability, an R&D Space Allocation Agreement is signed with entrepreneurs accepted to the zone, and the entrepreneur or company can start official procedures within the zone.
Starting Operations
Officials from the relevant Tax Office carry out an on-site inspection at the company. Once the inspection report is submitted to the General Directorate, all of the company's procedures are completed and it starts operating in the zone as a Teknopark İzmir Entrepreneur Company.
